The Bible class meets each Sunday morning at 10.30am. Our aim of the senior Bible class is to train our older teenagers to read and study God’s Word for themselves so that they can understand it and apply it to their lives.
The age range is from year 11 (age 14/15), with no upper age limit, although most young people leave at age 18/19. At present there are 11 teenagers in the class with lots of space for any newcomers. This year we have been working through the book of Ephesians, although we are sometimes prone to getting sidetracked by great questions from the group! The Senior Bible Class play a big part in the life of Antrim Baptist Church when we help organise and take part in some of the church services during the year.
If you are between 14 and 19, if you want to understand God’s Word better, and you want to get involved and be part of Senior Bible Class, speak to Niall at church or call 07974 818292.
1 Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. 2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
Impact meets each Friday night from 8pm to 9:30pm at the church. Our aim is to build good friendships, have good fun, and share God’s Word with each other. The age range is from year 8 to year 12. At present there are about 25 who go regularly and in the last year we have had a sports night, table quizzes, panel night, treasure hunt, debate night, and much more! The highlight of the year is the Impact Weekend where we go away for the weekend to get to know each other better, and we invite a speaker along to teach us God’s Word.
If you are between year 8 and 12, you want a safe, fun, relaxed place to go on a Friday night, why not join us?
